Medical Social Worker Assistant
Social work services are provided intermittently at patients’ places of residence in accordance with physician orders and plan of care, under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services/Nursing Supervisor and Medical Social Worker.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or Sociology as well as one year of experience working within health care settings;
- Experience of two years as a social work assistant is required, as is attaining a satisfactory grade on an examination conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service to determine proficiency; these determinations do not apply with regards to those initially licensed by a State or seeking initial qualification as social work assistant after December 31st 1977.
LCSW Telehealth
An LCSW Telehealth Therapist provides ongoing counseling services via Telehealth to clients.
Qualifications
- Must possess either a master’s or doctorate-level social work degree and two years of clinical social work experience under supervision. You must also be licensed or certified if required by state law; otherwise you must complete at least 3,000 hours of supervised clinical social work after earning your master’s degree, under the guidance of another master-level social worker in either a clinic, hospital or skilled nursing facility.
